Shah Peerally Law Show: Remembering September 11, 2001 and beyond.

Monday 9/12 2011 Law Show on KLOK1170 ( from Noon to 1pm

The event of September 11, 2001 has changed the lives of thousands but also the face of the world.  The Shah Peerally Law Group PC and its team join in offering all  sympathy to those who died on this sad day. We remember the innocent who died and may God bless their souls.

We also remember the aftermath of September 11 2011.   Many in our community suffered from harassment, discrimination and many other innocents lost their lives as a “backlash”.

After 10 years, the issue is still alive.  The abuses against people of color, perceived as potential terrorists continues.

I personally participated in many of “Know your Rights” sessions in Mosques, Gudwaras, Churches and Temples explaining the rights to many in our community.

Today the struggle for immigrants or people of immigrant origin continues.  The hate is not going away.  Therefore, we can only guide our community how to use existing laws to protect themselves. To this end we will dedicate our show to knowing your rights.
